Analytical Science Community East Anglia Region

Get involved in your Analytical Science Community Region

Purpose and scope

The committee for the Region consists of industrialists and academics. We have a range of ages represented, and have recently been able to recruit three new members to the committee.

Our Activities

The interests within the Region are largely related to Pharmaceuticals, Food, Forensics and Education and as such, many of our meetings reflect these sectors. The Region has particular experience in quality management issues and accreditation and has organised a number of successful meetings in these areas.

Where possible we attempt to involve other sections of the Royal Society of Chemistry. We have held one successful meeting at the Chemistry Centre in London. Over the past years we have held meetings jointly with the Essex and East Anglia Sections and the Molecular Spectroscopy group of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Committee

The committee members below are responsible for making sure the group meets its aims, organising activities, engaging with and supporting our group members.

They are always keen to recruit new personnel to the Committee. All RSC members are eligible. Vacancies usually arise at the end of each year and elections are held if necessary. The group fully support the Royal Society of Chemistry's policies regarding equality and diversity.

If you wish to be considered for election to membership of the Committee please contact the Secretary who will advise you accordingly.
